Our first time in a Motorhome and Mabel did not disappoint! We originally won 2 nights in a competition Mattika was running so we decided to extend it to 5 nights.Our whole experience with Mattika Motorhomes from beginning to end was excellent. Erika’s communication and valuable information and guidelines was faultless.We took Mabel over to Pembrokeshire and explored the Pembrokeshire coastline which was stunning. Highly recommend anyone who hasn’t tried Motorhomes to give it a go.

This is the second time we've hired from Mattika Motorhome Hire and we wouldn't use anyone else. On both occasions, our motorhome was pristine and user instructions available before our hire so we were 100% confident with the vehicle. We've had two brilliant short breaks with no hiccups at all. Erika stayed in touch with us as needed which added to the confidence of our hire. Handover is extremely thorough at both ends and the whole set up is the most professional experience we have had with a vehicle hire. The goodies left for us and our children is such a special treat! As first time hirers we couldn’t fault Mattika. Mabel was fabulous! Spotlessly clean, full of home comforts and equipped with everything we needed (and more!). She totally looked after us in the bad weather and was warm and cosy. Driving her was easy too - once we got used to her size!Communication and support from Erika was amazing! Explained everything in great detail, sent us invaluable ‘how to’ videos and was very responsive to queries. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Mattika and will definitely be back!

As first time motor home users we were a bit wary of the size of Mabel - she's a big lass - but after a few miles we started to get on very well.She appeared to do what asked of her on the road and did us proud at our camp site, providing us with a very comfortable stay indeed.Very clean and well maintained, and Erika explained the operations down to the last detail.Mabel was fitted out with everyting we could possibly have needed.We had a great long weekend and shall be back.Mattika provide a top class service.Thank you

Just back from a weekend in Magnus. As complete novices to motorhomes, dealing with Erika made the whole process enjoyable and really helpful. The online videos were incredibly helpful especially as we could access them when away if we needed that extra help. The vehicles are in great condition and the whole process of picking up (and returning) the vehicle was smooth and simple. I would thoroughly recommend Matt and Erika to anyone looking to hire a motorhome. Although our van was a little big for us, with the acquisition of a smaller vehicle we will be back.Graeme and June ( and Alfie too)

We hired Magnus for a two week family holiday touring south west England, we all had an absolutely fantastic time. I put a lot of research into hiring a van before I booked with Mattika and in my opinion Mattika were the cheapest in the area but that doesn’t mean that Erika and Matt scrimp on anything!! Second hire....what more can we say other than yet again another fabulous hire from Mattika. Mavis was superb, so clean, ready to go and had everything we needed. Erika took great care of us again. Where to next year?!First hire...What a wonderful weekend in Mabel! As first timers, hiring a motorhome felt a little daunting, but Erika was absolutely amazing and had so many hints and tips and really held our hand in planning our trip. The instructional videos for the working of the motorhome were a great idea and good to refer to.Mabel, what a wonderful motorhome, immaculately clean, everything you could need in the kitchen, we ate every meal in Mabel while we were away. We all found the beds super comfy, the mattress toppers a great touch! We all loved our holiday in Mabel, the puppy had a great time, we are already planning our next holiday with Mattika.Thanks so much to Matt and Erika for providing an absolutely flawless service from start to end.

We booked Margot (our motorhome) as a last minute getaway as a family of 4. Erika was quick to sort out the booking with no hassle. A quick and easy handover then we were on our way, Margot was beautifully presented with everything we needed (and more - rubber gloves to reed diffusers!!). Such an easy, stress free process of hiring a high spec vehicle. Margot made our slightly wet (torrential) Yorkshire Dales trip a memorable one & we will definitely be back!

We had an incredible family holiday to Devon & Cornwall in May 2023. The experience service received by Erika & Matt was second to none, this really made our overall experience even better. We hired Mabel for 10 nights in June to travel around the UK and to visit Glastonbury Festival. Erika was so helpful and was always on the end of the phone if we needed any advice. We had a great time. The Motorhome is comfortable and easy to drive. We’ve already booked another hire to return later in the year for NC500.

We hired Magnus for a 3 day trip to the lakes, Erika, was very accommodating with the pick up time and offered a range of drop off times. Magnus was clean on our collection and a comprehensive handover was given, along with an easy video user guide via email incase we were unsure of anything when in the lakes, further more there's a last option phone call back up if we still had any issues (we didn't) but it was nice to know we could call. Magnus was well equipped and we found the lay out worked well for 5 of us. We all found the beds comfy and easy to make up. The van was economical for the weight and size, I found it easy to drive with good size mirrors a rear view camera Inc parking sensors.We did take our own windbreaker and gazebo to make our area a little more private and because we had great weather we spent most of our time outside.Already planning another trip with a hire from Mattika👍🏼

We had a wonderful time away in Magnus, exploring Dumfries and Galloway over four days. The motorhome was in excellent condition and was superbly well equipped; Erika and Matt have certainly considered this well. Magnus was comfortable to live in and, despite being a large vehicle, was a joy to drive too. With a well equipped kitchen and on-board toilet and shower, a few nights were possible in secluded, quiet and beautiful locations - just what we had hoped for from our first motorhome adventure. Communication with Erika was always a positive experience and I found the administration was straightforward and guided by clear instructions. In short, both the service and the motorhome we received were first class - we will most certainly hire a motorhome again from Mattika.

First time motorhome users. I bought this break for my partner in 2021. It was all a huge secret for him and Erika was amazing helping me arrange it all. Unfortunately my partner ended up in intensive care the week before we were due to go. Erika was so accommodating and sympathetic and put me at ease about the trip I had to cancel. Finally it was rearranged and I can’t express how the team helped us through the whole process. We picked up Marvin and couldn’t fault anything about the motorhome and service. We enjoyed three nights in Seahouses and loved how chilled the whole trip was. Lovely texts from Erika offering help.I can 100% recommend this company. I would highly recommend Mattika motorhome hire to anyone looking for a motorhome holiday. Erika’s communication was excellent, all forms completed via email and regular communication leading up to the hire. The home was so well equipped with all the things needed for our holiday, there were lots of optional extras to make it more personal to you. The motorhome was lovely and clean, stocked with cleaning products so you could clean as you go! Everything had been so well thought out. First foray into the Motorhome malarky and started with a weekend in the Lakes with the wife and Mabel. Erika very easily to deal with and provided great communication around pick up and drop off. Worried initially about the size of the vehicle but once on the road was very easy and manageable. There's how to videos provided and Erika gave a quick demo on pick up, but there was a lot to remember - however the bits I didn't Erika quickly sorted over the weekend via text. Vehicle is well appointed, and was very clean. Nice extra touches provided, but probably to be expected as Erika was just great to deal with all round and very pleasant. Already been recommending to friends, and we will be back!

Just had an amazing week away in Mavis. We headed down to Cornwall stopping over for 1 night on the way. We are a family of 5 and Mavis was more than big enough for us. We took a pop up gazebo with us for sitting out on an evening and all of the camping chairs were kindly provided. Mavis was fully equipped with all crockery, pots, pans etc... she has a large storage garage underneath which was really handy for storing the kids toys and suitcases. Prior to collecting Mavis we were given full instructions/video links on how she worked and mum (Erika) was just at the end of the phone if we needed assistance. We would highly recommend Mattika Motorhome Hire and would definitely hire from them again!! 5 * plus 😁

Our Best Ever Motorhome Experience!From start to finish Erika made sure we were well prepared and knew what we were doing. We were briefed with clear instructions prior to collection, everything was demonstrated, and an instruction booklet included to cover all eventualities, ensuring we got the best use of Mavis (the motorhome) and all her handy features. Erika and Matt have thought of pretty much everything which made packing super easy as it was all there ready to go!Mavis was immaculately spotless and this attention to detail and final touches really sets Mattika apart from other hirers.We loved the lay out, the garage space at the back was perfect for stashing all our belongings as well as ample storage inside too. It felt spacious and as a group of 5 adults we were able to ALL sit comfortably, eat and drink in the evenings and we all slept brilliantly as the beds are so comfortable and not cramped. With no electrical hook up on our site the gas and solar charged day batteries kept us going for our 5-night hire too, keeping our phones charged – Bonus!The cherry on top was fuel consumption - we were surprised how easy a drive Mavis was and pleased to find her so economical. Huge given the current price of fuel. We would have zero hesitation recommending Mattika to any of our friends and we cannot wait for the next opportunity to hire from Erika and Matt. x

Our first time using a Motorhome definitely didn’t disappoint! The fantastic service from Mattika made our experience all the more enjoyable. We have just hired Mabel for 4 days, 3 nights for a lovely break in the lakes and the yorkshire fells.We couldn't have asked for a better weekend and Mabel certainly didnt disappoint! We were a family of 3 and 2 pooches and enjoyed every minute.Erika was so informative on handover and on our last day with everything we needed to know which made the whole process so easy.Matthew was on hand by phone while we were away to answer any questions we had (struggling with heating...user error which was me lol).The service and support from Mattika before & during our break was brilliant, professional and super friendly to deal with.We highly recommend this company if you want to hire a clean, modern motorhome.

We Hired a 6 birth motor home (Mavis) from Mattika in august 2021 and from the moment of booking we soon discovered that this was ran professionally and very family orientated. They made us feel so at ease with all of the aspects of hiring a motor home, from insurance requirements to a fully kitted out luxury motor home.
