Our first time in a Motorhome and Mabel did not disappoint! We originally won 2 nights in a competition Mattika was... running so we decided to extend it to 5 nights.Our whole experience with Mattika Motorhomes from beginning to end was excellent. Erika’s communication and valuable information and guidelines was faultless.We took Mabel over to Pembrokeshire and explored the Pembrokeshire coastline which was stunning. Highly recommend anyone who hasn’t tried Motorhomes to give it a go.read more

Surprised our two granddaughters with a 5 day trip to Scarborough- they loved it!!! We hired magnus for a week to do the NC500 in Scotland 🏴.... Everything from start to finish was excellent. Speedy replies on email and everything was ready for us when we arrived. The videos sent beforehand of how to use the motorhome were incredibly useful and helped while we were away.Erika took us through the whole motorhome before we left and was always on hand to answer any questions we had on our trip,The van was super clean and had some lovely little touches such as colour matches blankets to match the colour of the signage. Everything we needed for the kitchen was provided.The van smelt lovely and the little tub of squashies was a great little treat.We had the best time and can’t wait to hire again!read more

We hired mabel for a week and ventured up to Scotland. We did multiple stops from Ayr to Arisaig which made for a great... adventure.Given the length of the journey we were concerned how much fuel we might use but the motorhome was far better than we expected.Erika was very accommodating for pick up and drop off which was very helpful.The motorhome had everything we needed whether we were hooked up or not.We would not hesitate in recommending Mattika to anyone.Great service with excellent communication.Thank you!read more

Just back from travelling the NC500 in Mabel. First time in a motorhome but the help and support from Mattika was... excellent and the instruction videos via email were really useful. We had a lovely weekend in Margot at the RIAT airshow first timers in a motorhome Matt and Erika couldn’t have made... things any easier they were very informative lots of info on board to help out. Also on hand by phone/text/Facebook messenger to answer any questions we had! We may be converted and do it all again next year! Definitely recommend this lovely company for future travels!read more

We had the best time at Silverstone for the F1 Grand Prix, we spent 5 nights in the lovely Mabel and she was perfect,... nice and spacious, good beds, clean and very well equipped. Our Best Ever Motorhome Experience!From start to finish Erika made sure we were well prepared and knew what we were... doing. We were briefed with clear instructions prior to collection, everything was demonstrated, and an instruction booklet included to cover all eventualities, ensuring we got the best use of Mavis (the motorhome) and all her handy features. Erika and Matt have thought of pretty much everything which made packing super easy as it was all there ready to go!Mavis was immaculately spotless and this attention to detail and final touches really sets Mattika apart from other hirers.We loved the lay out, the garage space at the back was perfect for stashing all our belongings as well as ample storage inside too. It felt spacious and as a group of 5 adults we were able to ALL sit comfortably, eat and drink in the evenings and we all slept brilliantly as the beds are so comfortable and not cramped. With no electrical hook up on our site the gas and solar charged day batteries kept us going for our 5-night hire too, keeping our phones charged – Bonus!The cherry on top was fuel consumption - we were surprised how easy a drive Mavis was and pleased to find her so economical. Huge given the current price of fuel. We would have zero hesitation recommending Mattika to any of our friends and we cannot wait for the next opportunity to hire from Erika and Matt. xread more

Our first time using a Motorhome definitely didn’t disappoint! The fantastic service from Mattika made our experience... all the more enjoyable. From booking to returning was expertly done with quick responses to emails and messages. The flexible collection and drop off times meant we could cater the trip to our needs. We have just hired Mabel for 4 days, 3 nights for a lovely break in the lakes and the yorkshire fells.We couldn't... have asked for a better weekend and Mabel certainly didnt disappoint! We were a family of 3 and 2 pooches and enjoyed every minute.Erika was so informative on handover and on our last day with everything we needed to know which made the whole process so easy.Matthew was on hand by phone while we were away to answer any questions we had (struggling with heating...user error which was me lol).The service and support from Mattika before & during our break was brilliant, professional and super friendly to deal with.We highly recommend this company if you want to hire a clean, modern motorhome.read more

Fantastic time in Keswick. The motorhome from Mattika Motorhome Hire was incredible. All you needed was clothes and... food. They even could arrange bedding if preferred. My little family had a fantastic 4 nights away in Magnus. The Motorhome was more than homely enough and spacious enough... for 2 adults and a toddler. We hired their car seat which my little one loved to sit in! The Motorhome was easy to set up on arriving to campsites or to use while out and about. Erika and Matt were very friendly and helpful. We Hired a 6 birth motor home (Mavis) from Mattika in august 2021 and from the moment of booking we soon discovered... that this was ran professionally and very family orientated. They made us feel so at ease with all of the aspects of hiring a motor home, from insurance requirements to a fully kitted out luxury motor home. They sent very helpful video's of how the motor home functioned leaving no stone unturned.
